Wooo I made the rest of the mens chest zip wetsuit, brought it home to try on Elliot (because the uni mannequins are oddly sized and shaped!) and it fits like a glove!!!
Just need to make the bottoms now! (think im gonna do the bottoms simple and overlock them onto the top round the waist! Other wise I'll never be done by Friday (the hand in)!!

Toiling...The 1st real challenge!
Well everyone knows I'm a relatively confident person at pattern cutting but this mens chest zip wetsuit has really challenged me!! ive been struggling all week just trying to do the over head flap! but finally sorted it!!!
I can't believe This has taken so long, but i guess sometimes the things you think are simple are actually the hardest! Now just the rest of the suit to get on with!!! (fingers crossed that doesnt take as long!!!

More Toiling!!!
Here is my womens long john wetsuit toile (top half)
This may look simple, but its still too baggy after removing the side seam, and removing that was no easy task when i ad 7.5cm to try remove out of other panels to get this far! Check out the huge amount i had to take away!!!

Toiles Continued!
This is possible the most crazy pattern piece I've ever made!!! And defo the oddest looking sleeve pattern!
Here is an updated version of the previous toile with side seams gone. Thanks to Hazel for being a brill mannequin!!! :D
Here is the beautiful side image with side seam and under arm seam removed! (I'm a little proud of this because it took ages!)

The Toiles Begin!!
Here are some pics of my womens full suit wetsuit toile. I am currently toiling out of neoprene because i want to be able to get all the lines and panels in the right place 1st. I also cant start making in neoprene until my neoprene arrives because I'm not sure exactly how stretchy it will be!
I think this shape is looking sweet, just gotta get rid of side seams and the raglam seams of the sleeve!

Final Collection Designs
I haven't written a post in a while due to writing my dissertation having taken over my life (and Christmas!) but had my tutorial today at uni to decide my final collection. My designs are very much leading on from my Project 301 designs. I am going to do 2 womens wetsuits and 2 mens wetsuits along with rash vests and board shorts. For now, here are the 4 wetsuit designs: (I haven't added colour yet because until my Neoprene arrives from China then I'm not 100 percent sure what panels are gong to be what colours, but they will be along the likes of the 301 designs)
